John Pedersen works in the IDRE High-Performance Computing Systems and Networking group. As a System Administrator, John supports the IDRE Hosted and Shared Cluster resources, analyzing and resolving any system issues that arise. He has experience working with multiple platforms – Linux, Mac OS, and Windows – and various productivity and utility software applications. He also collaborates with others to research, design, and implement emerging technologies.
Since 2001, John has supported various groups within IDRE/OARC (and previously ATS), including the Disabilities and Computing Program, iMedia, Desktop Support, and the Visualization Portal.
In his free time, John enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
